Promotion of ideas is made in CUF through the "Colombo" platform which was launched in 2006 and aims to involve and reward all employees to participate in the Innovation process of the company. As a result of the ideas management process, Colombo has been turning the employee’s ideas in value-added applications for the company.
CUF has approved 98 ideas, of which 67 have been successfully implemented with a significant payback of around € 3 million, as well as various intangible results in terms of safety, environment and productivity.
