Paediatrics is a medical speciality that monitors the growth and development of children and adolescents up to the age of 18, monitors their health status and diagnoses and treats their illnesses. It is a multidisciplinary speciality to which all others contribute in order to allow global monitoring of the health of children and adolescents.
