Video consultations
CUF offers a video consultation service for your safety and convenience, thereby reducing avoidable trips to health units.
All you need for a video consultation is a device with a camera, microphone and internet connection (smartphone, tablet or computer).
These consultations are available for most specialities, including general and family medicine, internal medicine and paediatrics.

Booking an appointment by phone
Contact your CUF hospital or clinic and book a video consultation.
A video consultation is a remote appointment using information and communication technologies. It can be used for patient follow-up consultations and also for first consultations.
A video consultation is indicated if there will be no need for physical contact. For example:
- to discuss test results
- answer patient’s questions
- renew prescriptions
- monitor disease progression without the need for physical interaction
You should not use a video consultation in the following clinical situations:
- Pain or tightness in the chest
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Altered state of consciousness (severe drowsiness)
- Weakness in an arm, drooping mouth or slurred speech
- Abundant bleeding
- Severe burns
- Injury in an accident

To ensure the security of your data and confirm your identity, you cannot schedule a video consultation if you are not a CUF customer. Only customers who have already had an appointment or examination at any CUF hospital or clinic are eligible.
