Message from the President

“CUF is an institution with a long history and a promising future, recognised for its distinctive quality and, above all, for its consistent to the values and ideals that guide us: Respect for Human Dignity and Well-Being, Human Development, Competence, Innovation, and Integrity.

From the outset, we have sought to promote the constant evolution of Medicine and thereby contribute to the development of Portugal, establishing ourselves as leaders in the provision of benchmark healthcare in this country. 

With the aim of meeting the needs of each individual and family at all stages of life, we conduct our activities in an integrated and comprehensive manner, through a vast network of hospitals and clinics, digital channels, and local care services.  

To achieve this, we rely on the invaluable contribution of over 15 thousand highly qualified employees, our greatest asset, with multidisciplinary teams that embrace a profound sense of responsibility and a permanent commitment to the excellence of the services provided to our clients. People are our priority because we consider ourselves a community of professionals caring for people. 

Simultaneously, the constant pursuit of innovation and new opportunities for value creation is part of CUF’s DNA. We invest in the continuous improvement of the healthcare services that we provide, which translates into offering solutions and responses of excellence.
