The Waiting Time displayed is the average waiting time for care over the past two hours, categorised by Manchester Triage System colour.
This means that for all patients seen in the last two hours, the time between the end of their most recent triage and their first medical assessment is calculated for each triage colour. This information is updated every 5 minutes.
Due to increased patient flow and/or the complexity of clinical cases (such as the admission of yellow, orange, or red triage levels), fluctuations in the waiting times displayed (green triage level) may occur.
